About Joyce

With over a decade of experience in residential real estate sales, and a prior background in commercial brokerage, I bring a well-rounded package of advice with me to every client I serve. My personal real estate transactions have included buying and selling single family homes, farmland, and investment properties, so I understand the highs and lows of journeying through a transaction, and am able to support my clients- emotionally and otherwise- every step of the way.

Since 2009, I've been hands-on in rehabilitating three 1940's era ranch homes and a historic shotgun-style home. I've renovated and reworked a farm that needed a boost to become a working property, and brought an Old Louisville Victorian mansion back to life, in addition to gutting and redesigning my personal home- a three story townhouse. Through these projects and experiences of my own, I've built a network of contractors, service providers, and industry professionals that I can refer to my clients when needed.

In 2018, I moved onto the leadership team at Semonin Realtors, and was charged with the coaching, teaching, and business development of over 50 Realtors whose experience spans just a few months to almost 30 years. While my daily responsibilities included the care of these agents and a focus on recruiting like-minded Realtors to our firm, I also taught our entire agent population in monthly training classes, off-site projects, and volunteered my time and energy with our Habitat for Humanity builds each Fall.

In the Spring of 2020 I arrived at HomeServices' sister company, Wakefield Reutlinger, to fill the role of General Sales Manager. Armed with my experiences gained during my years as a Realtor and Sales Manager at Semonin, I was able to assist the staff and agents at WR in finding ways to streamline their business on the administrative and organizational side, allowing them to focus more on the daily care of their clients.

2021 has brought me back to Semonin Realtors, thrilled once again to serve on a team at the oldest and largest Brokerage in the area. I'm stepping into an old role with new responsibilities, ready to serve all 450 of our agents at the right hand of General Sales Manager, Stacy Durbin. Recruiting experienced agents, teaching those new to our industry or our company, and assisting our agents in successful business planning are still my main goals, and our company's Core Values will always be front and center: Honesty & Integrity.
